For the life of me, I can't figure out the connection. Why would Anthony Hopkins pay Robert Blake a visit in jail?

This, along with putting in a brief appearance at Liza's wedding (when you know he damn well didn't care), proves to me that Anthony Hopkins has got to be the most charming man ALIVE! (Have I mentioned I have a thing for geezers?)

This reminds me of a quote Emma Thompson once gave about Sir Anthony Hopkins. She said that she could gauge how badly in trouble her career was, by how often he mentioned they were friends. She said he is a 'friend in need' who will only admit to being friends with someone when things are going badly for them. He will never admit to being friends with other superstars, he is something of an inverted snob and name drops only people whose names most people would prefer not to be connected with.
