Roddy, master player?

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - For someone no one, save her TV boyfriend Roddy, professed in private to like, Chiara sure seems to have caused a lot of heartache by leaving the 'Big Brother 3' house.

Saturday's (Aug. 24) episode opens with the remaining players all misty-eyed over Kiki's departure, then they really get sad when Roddy reveals she left her childhood blankie behind so Roddy would remember her.

Of course, if they all loved Kiki so much, they probably wouldn't have 4-1 to kick her to the curb, where she has her court date on a DUI charge to look forward to.

Amy, who masterminded Chiara's exit, cuts through the tears with a bit of truth: 'I have to act like I care, but I don't. ... It's a game.'

New Head of Household Jason will inevitably have lose some of his good-guy veneer because he has to nominate two people for eviction, but at least he's appropriately vexed by the task. He starts by telling buddy Danielle that she's safe, which surprises absolutely no one.

After more moping and griping, we see a perfect example of why the show's producers cut off the outside world to the players

The Power of Veto competition was held today in the Big Brother House. For the first time ever, the reigning Head of Household has won the power of veto. Jason now gets a change to change his own nomination if he so desires, or he may leave it the same. What will he do? Stay tuned to find out!

So maybe Roddy WILL go

If Jason gets rid of Roddy, many blame Danielle for controlling Jason, and Roddy is GOOD at pulling people's heart-srtings. I think Jason should have nominated him in the first place also, but Roddy is NOT going to make it to the finals, IMO. Getting rid of Gerry (the plan for the week) is not a bad
