Christina Aguilera In Eatery Disorder 16 July 2002
Pop babe Christina Aguilera had a top West Hollywood restaurant in a tizzy with her outrageous behaviour during a recent night out.
The singer and her entourage were keen on an evening at hip Mexican diner El Coyote, but their diva demands were too much for the venue to handle, according to the National Enquirer.
First Christina demanded to be let into the restaurant via the back entrance. She then criticised the waiter, telling him not to look her in the eyes when she ordered food.
This provoked hilarity from some other diners, who began heckling her and demanding to know who she was. The fuming singer sent her minders over to silence the other patrons, and when this tactic failed, she stormed over to their table herself and began yelling at them.
The altercation only ended when the restaurant's management stepped in and threatened to throw out all involved - including Christina and her posse.
The El Coyote restaurant is a favourite with big names like Brad Pitt, Drew Barrymore, Matthew Perry and Whoopi Goldberg. Even eccentric rocker turned TV personality Ozzy Osbourne puts on his best behaviour when he arrives. (WENN)

Superstar Madonna's wrap party for her London theatre run was attended by only two celebrities - one of them being her husband Guy Ritchie!
The Material Girl hosted a bash at the trendy Century Club to celebrate her last night in the David Williamson play Up For Grabs.
Madonna and Guy spent only an hour at the low-key event, where the only famous person to turn up was French designer Jean Paul Gaultier.(WENN)

Singer Enrique Iglesias' uber-crooner father Julio has suggested that his son is indeed having a serious romance with tennis babe Anna Kournikova.
Following months of speculation of a possible relationship between the pair, after the Russian's steamy appearance in Enrique's video for “Escape” and several sightings of the pair enjoying each other's company, Spanish lothario Julio has heavily hinted his son has the hots for Anna.
He says, 'I am not going to tell you anything but there is someone he fancies, but I don't dare say who. 'She's very famous and she's not a singer. He sees her often and I've met her twice myself in United States.'(WENN)

Big-voiced singer Anastacia has caused a storm in her native America after she forget the words to the country's National Anthem.
The Chicago-born star was chosen to perform Star Spangled Banner at Milwaukee, Wisconsin's Miller Park stadium, prior to the all-star baseball game.
Unfortunately for Anastacia, she embarrassed herself in front of millions of viewers by forgetting the words and ad-libbing.
Local newspaper The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel scathed, 'Soulful rendition, babe, but it's 'the rockets' red glare,' not 'the rockets' gave glare.'
Even her fans are annoyed with the diva. One devotee rants, 'She should absolutely be ashamed of herself! If any other promoter has any sense he will not even consider her for a national anthem. For crying out loud, if you don't know the words... learn them!' (WENN)
Steven Spielberg May Have Discovered Anastacia 16 July 2002
Pint-sized pop singer Anastacia sang at Steven Spielberg's wedding - but the movie mogul has no idea who she is.
The diva performed at Spielberg's wedding to Kate Capshaw in 1991, so when she spotted the couple lunching with Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz she jumped at the chance to say hi.
The singer laughs, 'I could tell he thought I was some weirdo actress. So I explained about the wedding and how I had a record deal now. He just nodded and said that was great.'
'Tom was looking at me as if he was trying to place me - he stood up and said hello. My friends swear Penelope leaned in and started filling them in on who I am.'

Unable to cope seeing Jade with his new love, Emma fled the exclusive room only to be hounded by fans in the regular club rooms.

The 20-year-old pop princess has suffered much heartbreak recently - her mum Lynne and dad Jamie are said to have split, while her relationship with 'N Sync hunk Justin Timberlake is on the rocks.
But while Bryan, 24, prefers to avoid publicity and the showbiz glitz which surrounds his little sister, he insists that they're really close. Britney often calls her gym instructor sibling to check how he's doing, and stays in the New York apartment she bought him whenever she's in the city.
Bryan says, 'Britney is my best friend. Mum, dad and I are so proud of her and everything that she's achieved.'

Hip-hop star Wyclef Jean's experience of working in a strip club inspired him to write last year's Top 10 hit 'Perfect Gentleman'.
Wyclef's uncle used to work in a strip club, and the rapper used to sneak in and watch the dancers when he was as young as 12. Then, as a teenager he got a job working there.
The 29-year-old musician explains, 'I was able to write the song about stripping because I understand the life of dancers.'

The multi-million selling Canadian has been taking it easy since the birth of her baby Rene Charles last year, and believes her singing voice has suffered as a consequence of her love for her new son and husband Rene.
She explains, 'Renne Charles, Rene and I come first now. I am no longer the vocal athlete I was. My voice is not as perfect - I can hear that when I sing.'
'This doesn't bother me. Emotion has taken over from perfection. I feel my songs so much more now and I put so much more of my real self into my performances.'

Michael Jackson's Long-Held Ambition Scuppered 16 July 2002
Superstar singer Michael Jackson has wanted only one thing 'since the day he was born' - to be on a film's promotional poster.
However, the King of Pop's ambition was scuppered despite starring in hit new movie Men In Black II - because, despite pleading with director Barry Sonnenfeld for the honour, the film-maker had to explain the contractual problems involved in putting Jackson's bizarre face on the billboards.
Sonnenfeld explains, 'I said, as much as I'd love him to be on the poster, contractually if anyone other than Tommy Lee and Will (Smith) was on the poster, a whole lot of other people get to be on the poster. Like Lara Flynn Boyle, Rip Torn, Tony Shaloub and Johnny Knoxville.'
However, he does believe Jackson may have fulfilled his boyhood dream in some parts of the world, saying, 'I believe that it is remotely possible that Michael Jackson might be on the poster of Men In Black 2...in Taiwan or South Korea.' (WENN)
