Liv Tyler Has Baby Boy

NEW YORK - Steven Tyler is now, gasp, a grandfather.

Liv Tyler, daughter of the Aerosmith lead singer and model Bebe Buell, gave birth to a son in Manhattan Tuesday, Us Weekly magazine reported.

'They are both doing great,' Tyler's publicist, Stephen Huvane, told The Associated Press Wednesday. He said the baby hadn't yet been named.

The 'Lord of the Rings' actress, 27, is married to Royston Langdon of the band Spacehog. The two tied the knot in March 2003.

Tyler played the elf princess Arwen 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. Her screen credits also include 'Jersey Girl' and 'Armageddon.'

Entertainment Tonight said it was a girl. What was it? And, better yet, what are they going to name him/her? Something... err, 'remarkable' and 'unique', I'm sure. Can't wait.

Most news sources are saying that it was a boy. I didn't check any of the entertainment sites though.

I don't know but there were reports before the baby was born that it would be a boy and every article I've read today has said that she gave birth to an 8 lb boy.

Well, after US Weekly originally said she'd had a girl, they've gotten onboard and are confirming it's a son.

Found this on lovelylivtyler.com as well: 'Bebe Buell, who is also the best-selling author of 'Rebel Heart' reported, 'He's beautiful and looks just like his daddy.'' According to a friend of Liv's, the baby also has 'full lips'.

Sorry, kid. Gorgeous mom and you end up looking like the old man but with grandpa's mouth. Ouch.

Her mom posted to Velvet Rope that it's a boy.

Wonder if it'll be something that sounds like a last name, like Harrison or Tucker.

What kind of a name is 'Liv'? Is that a nickname? The only other Liv I know of is Liv Ullmann, who acted in several Ingmar Bergmann films and was romantically involved with Bergmann, I believe.
