My two favorite Larry King moments happened when he interviewed Paul McCartney a few years ago. Two of his most pathetically stupid questions were:
'So, didja ever write any of the Beatles songs with Lennon?'
'Did you go to Lennon's funeral?'
King also was horrible when he interviewed Brian Wilson, who had his wife with him because Brian is out of it. Larry turns to the wife and says, 'So you're here 'cause Brian blew out his mind on drugs and can't remember nothin' of the past, right?'
