Katherine McPhee tonight - WOW! She looked stunning!

oh good God. this isn't a freaking beauty pageant. Try listening to her actually sing. her voice is weak, she is off-key and shrieky more often than she is not and she can barely manage to find the melody.

Katharine is a horrible singer/performer according to none of the judges. Ever.

I thought this was a outright insult to Paris - who is clearly a much more mature and ON KEY singer - in addition to a couple of the others (Chris, Taylor) who've never sung out of tune once.

Ok...what show have YOU been watching?...Taylor has been off key in almost every Performance and Chris...well...its hard to SCREAM off key...

i think people who *know* and appreciate real music would call that sophistication. she's really got *it*, but probably too much for a show like idol.
