Kara Dioguardi To Freshen Up The Idol Judges Pannel

Season VIII of Idol is closing in on us and will be a little different from the previous seasons.
For one thing, it seems that there will be a fourth judge added to the Panel - Kara Dioguardi.
Multi Grammy nominated songwriter, music producer and singer, she seems like just the person to add some know to the Panel.
I have been finding the judges remarks a bit predictable - We know Simon is the hardest to please, that Paula is sweet and kind and that Randy is mostly sweet and kind and even when not impressed, is not impressed in a nice way.
All of that is ok, but going onto the season eight, it might be nice to add a a breeze of fresh air and Hopefully Kara will do just that.
Steve Eighinger is worried about an even numbered panel having a hard time narrowing down the contestants in Hollywood week - but that is easily dealt with. Other countries have Idol programs with four judges and either one judge is given a deciding vote for a period of time or by lottery… or each judge can have a favorite to give immunity to, so I am all for this.

It could only add an element of surprise and tension good for all shows especially competitions.
