Did anyone watch the E! True Hollywood Story about Julia Roberts last night? It seems she owes her whole career start to Sally Field, who got her her role in 'Steel Magnolias' and talked Garry Marshall into giving her the role in 'Pretty Woman.' I wasn't aware of how much of a mentor Sally had been to Julia. Has Julia ever acknowledged this?

Yes, I recall hearing her talk about it. And Sally was the producer of 'Dying Young'... it was around that time that I heard both of them talk about their relationship and these connections.

Didn't know about the E! story being on though, will have to look for it.
