When Jodie Foster and Jennifer Beals attended the Paramount 90th Anniversary Party together last week, it was said to be the first time Jodie has attended an event with another woman.

Meanwhile it was also announced last week that Jennifer will be starring in a pilot for a new series on Showtime about a group of lesbians. It's been suggested that perhaps Jennifer hooked up with Jodie for some tips on her new role. Alternatively it's been said that the two went to Yale together and are old friends.

I can confirm they went to Yale together; I was there then too. Whether or not they were friends...who knows? It's a big school. I know I used to see Jennifer around with a boyfriend - walking their dog.

last i heard, beals was married to alexandre rockwell, a producer/director who directed the episode of '4 rooms' that featured jb in a 'humorous' s&m relationship that is accidentally broken in on by the bellhop (tim roth.) i don't know if they're still together, though . . .

I think they split a few years ago. Actually, I could have sworn she was remarried.
