Taken from the 1978 LP 'High Anxiety: Mel Brooks' Greatest Hits Featuring the Fabulous Film Scores of John Morris'...

The songs is called 'The French Mistake' and was written by Mel Brooks. The lyrics:

Throw out your hands Stick out your tush Hands on your hips Give them a push You'll be surprised You're doing The French Mistake - Voila!

(The next stanza is not seen nor heard in the film):

Come on everybody, sing along! 50 million Frenchmen can't be wrong! Wheeeee!

So, throw out your hands Stick out your tush Hands on your hips, Give them a push You'll be surprised You're doing The French Mistake - Voila!
