At the Grammy's she ignored thanking Idol though she did thank everyone else including the homeless bum outside of the event. I was a bit surprised she could forget AI.

I thought Madonna should have gotten it. In a recent online poll, 68% think she looks hotter now than when she sang Material Girl.

Mumbled under her breath but still thanked them.

For all you Kelly bashers out there, when she won her first ever award for best female pop vocal performance for 'Miss Independent' at the 2003 Teen Choice Awards on Fox, she thanked Idol and 19 and Fuller and that was a full year after she won and it was a few months after From Justin To Kelly almost ruined her career (did for Justin) but yet she still remembered to thank the show. Now Carrie just won her first ever award and of course she's going to thank Idol and 19, she just won a little over a year ago and that's basically why she is there right now. Kelly won for her second album that had nothing to do with Idol and nothing to do with 19 or Fuller, she left them shortly after the album came out and her career has taken off since then. If she won for 'thankful' you better believe she would have thanked the show. Let's also not forget that at the grammys Kelly thanked HER FANS, and they are after all who voted for her to win the show in the first place. Also, I saw her recently being interviewed and someone asked her 'now i know you are probably tired of hearing about Idol' and she interrupted the interviewer and said :'no not at all.....' So let's see if Carrie is still thanking Idol and 19 and Fuller 3 years down the line when she wins more awards.
