BWAH! Fuel wants to hire Chris.

If the job is his to accept or decline, my recommendation to him would be to quit AI immediately and accept.

As much as I'd miss him, Chris should grab this. Fuel is still fairly legit and hot and Carl Bell writes amazing songs. Don't let Clive Davis get his hands on you, Chris. He'll chop your balls off like he did to Bo. And of course, it would clear TPTB to have one of their pimp-bots move into the lead.

Looks more like he was offered a 'second' interview/audition. If he goes for the audition, but doesn't get the job is he still eliminated from Idol?

Okay, tinfoil hat time. What if Chris *knew* that they were looking for a lead singer and sang that particular song to 'audition' for Fuel?

Why should he go audition? All they have to do is tune in every Wednesday to hear Chris sing.

This is a very clear statement saying he was offered the job. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Exactly my thoughts. It seems that song was his audition. I don't know if he chose it or TPTB chose it, but I think that was the reason behind it.

Yeah, the performance was undoubtedly an audition. But the fuelweb statement doesn't sound like a no ifs ands or buts offer to Chris....

I think it's premature to say he has an offer from Fuel. Randy Jackson isn't in Fuel.
