You're not missing anything. She was married [?] to Steven Tyler of Aerosmith back in the 70s, but she screwed lots of rocks stars. She was a groupie and wrote a book about her adventures, a couple years ago. Anyway she is the mother of the actress Liv Tyler, and Steven Tyler is the dad, but Bebe Buell didn't tell Liv he was her dad until she was 12 years old. Up until then Bebe had told Liv that her dad was Todd Rundgren. I think the thread go started becuase of the topic concerning people who are famous for doing nothing but being famous.

Playboy's Miss November 1974 and a famous groupie. Ex wife of Todd Rundgren, had child (now actress Liv Tyler) by Steven Tyler while still with Rundgren. Also girlfriend of Stiv Bators, Iggy Pop, Ric Ocasek, Elvis Costello, Bob Geldof, Jimmy Page, and...maybe it'd be easier to list who she hasn't been with.

She and Todd were actually never married. But he signed the birth certificate. He also named Liv. It means 'Life'. He wasn't consulted when Bebe spilled the beans to the girl that grew up thinking he was her Dad. Todd remains Liv's 'spiritual' father.
