According to this week's EW, the following are being considered for the Batman vs. Superman movie: Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, James Franco (who's he?), Jude Law and Paul Walker.

Ehh...none of these really sound exciting or hunky enough...how about the guy who plays Clark Kent on 'Smallville' as Superman? Any other suggestions?

I like William Fitchner (The Perfect storm). If you look him up on the IMDB it has his photo. I think he could play either character.

All these guys are essentially the same height, with varying degrees of skinny.

Looks schmooks, all anyone is going to really care about are biceps and height for superman. He's got height.

Yeah I guess out of all these bland choices, Walker is the best!

He played Harry Osborn (Peter's best friend) in Spider-man, and James Dean in that recent TV biopic.

, Jude Law and Paul Walker.

Anyway at least two of these choices would be something of a conflict of interest, Franco being in the Spider-man franchise, and Farrell playing Bullseye in Daredevil. None of them strike me as being a good choice for Superman, who should be played by someone well-built and not just be the prettyboy of the week.

I can see him more as Batman actually! I think I'm one of the few people who was actually interested in seeing Nicolas Cage's proposed 'weird and neurotic' take on Superman, so I'd cast him.

Heh, interesting, but I think Billy Zane should be reserved to take over as James Bond when Pierce Brosnan retires How about Guy Pearce as Batman.

I never had any interest in seeing Nic Cage as Superman. Nic Cage was spared what would surely have been a career-ending, devastating blow. Christian Bale is talented enough to pull off either role.

Guy Pearce has been suffering from anorexia lately. I don't think he's physically up to such a demanding role. I'd like to go back to the days of the Dark Knight and I think Billy Zane is one of the few actors who could pull it off. Heck, even Timothy Dalton would be an interesting choice, but he's probably too old. The intensity that Dalton and Zane have is what attracted Tim Burton to Michael Keaton. Keaton worked well for the series. I'm not saying someone else couldn't have done a better job, but of the three, only Keaton's Batman really seemed threatening.

My gonzo, off-the-wall suggestion would be: Silas Gaither from Survivor 3: Africa for Superman. I don't know if he's gone into acting, but some of his publicity stills suggest he'd be capable of filling Christopher Reeves
