Another Lance Win

Four years in a row, Texan Lance Armstrong wins the Tour de France, arguably the most presigious/grueling competition in all of sport.... WTG Lance!!!!!!!

I'd like Lance to take on that MSNBC writer/doofus who wrote that article claiming Lance 'isn't an athlete.'

You betcha.

It's part of the cutesy pseudo-controversies generated by pseudo sports commentators who really have nothing interesting to say/write otherwise but are trying oh-so hard to justify their paychecks. So far this year alone they have variously claimed that every sport isn't a real sport except football, baseball, and basketball. And I'm not totally convinced some of them haven't said these aren't real sports.

Their favs to decry are golf and figure skating. I can't speak to golf, but I'd love to see these doofus types go through the training regimen all world-class skaters go through...and see if they survive. Or even, look at the muscle-bound body of tiny little Sasha Cohen, and still say she isn't an athlete involved in a sport. That kid looks like a micro-sized body builder.

He is a great athlete, no doubt. He also has the best team in the sport to help him and he has given the team great credit for their performance this year.

The rest of them have two and they seem to do fine.

Also, the part of the guy that's on that tiny little seat is the taint. The balls are up and out of the way. Whether one or two, you couldn't sit on them for long!

When I was really into biking about 10-12 years ago, my taint would go numb after about 35 miles or so. (no numb nuts jokes, they didn't go numb!)

The only 'athletes' who aren't athletes are show wrestlers.

Show wrestling may be fake, but the athletic ability of the wrestlers is not. Those guys are incredible.
