Annie blasts Orlando snub rumours

Annie Lennox has blasted a newspaper report that she mistook Orlando Bloom for an obsessed fan.
A tabloid report claimed the singer snubbed Bloom at the screening of Woody Allen's Annie Hall in London after the actor asked her for an autograph.
She allegedly told him: 'I just want a quiet night. Please leave me alone and get a life.'
On her official website, Annie said the story is 'completely untrue', adding: 'Of course I know who Orlando Bloom is!

Because it's easy to believe from a bitch like her?
Once she kicked a security person at a local concert, I believe in the head, she was on stage, he was in front of it. She said something to the effect that Who needs these assholes here. Don't quote me, you get the general idea. This was maybe 15 years ago, maybe more.

I believe them to be facts, that's as I recall them. Yes, there was legal trouble for her over it.

I also find it hard to believe that he would ask her for an autograph. I'm sure they crossed paths several times during awards season last year so why would he suddenly be wanting an autograph now?

I don't have a source, I live maybe 5 miles from the arts center where it happened, it was all over the newspapers. She attacked the guy unprovoked.
Just stuck in my mind what an asshole she was.

So you're obviously not in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area, 'cos there's nothing about it in those newspapers, going back to 1981.

I've contacted the newspaper most likely to have carried it heavily, if they get back to me I'll post it. Until then file it under gossip like most of the stuff here, and only I will know it did happen.
