That's usually when I turn over to Fox. LOL. Maybe Queen will perform. There's gotta be some good reason to expand to an hour when there are fewer and fewer contestants left to perform. Or maybe Simon will take the stage and rebut everything Paula said about him on Leno.

I've heard it's because the contestants are going to be performing a song from Queen together.

Well, we know it won't be 'Bohemian Rhapsody'...not the entire song, anyway. Fox won't allow six minutes between commercial breaks!

LOL, they could always go to commercial and rejoin the contestants 'already in progress'

I heard they're gonna sing 'We are the Champions' and that's why Taylor had to change his song from this to CLTCL.

I said that, and it was pure speculation on my part. I'm seriously HOPING that TPTB are cruel enough to make them sing Another One Bites the Dust.

Actually I mentioned the same thing, and I would not be at all surprised if that was the plan from the beginning.

The contestants will be performing a 'huge' medley of 'all the Queen songs the kids didn't do'. There is also a messages from home segment for the contestants, where they will show videos of the loved ones they haven't seen since they went to Hollywood. That's as per Nigel Lythgoe.
