Doesn't Simon understand Show Biz or the Music Businesss?

There is only *one* reason why American Idol is the most successful show now on TV.

It's not because of Simon or Paula or that dawgy fat black dude (i forgot his name) or the put downs or the singing...good or bad as it might be... or the retards...

it's because of only one reason...

'cattle calls'.

If there were more 'cattle calls' in Hollywood, you would have more singing stars and acting stars.

But under the current 'casting system', one has to be able to fit through the corruption of show and music buisnes.

With cattle calls, you might get a few retards, ...but you find someone that will make you say

I cannot believe they signed up Paula Abdul for 3 more years on American Idol! She makes me sick!!!! She looks stoned most of the time or some kind of drug...and she sooooooooooo slutty! She's got slutty eyes!! She looks like she wants some 'young thing'. Not that I have anything against that kind of girl.... and she's tooo gooey, you know what I mean by gooey? She acts too sweet. ...and she runs out of sweet words to say... What is she going to come up with for the next 3 years? She needs a script.

and I didn't want to say this....cause I hope she's not reading this... and I don't want to hurt her feelings.... but sometimes she looks tooooo old. Why couldn't they get somebody younger? Even Simon ranks on her age!

and that Simon on American Idol is a very dangerous person... it should be obvious to everyone by now that if he likes somebody no matter how terrible they sing he will *try* to influence the votes by saying things like, 'Tonight, you have become a Star!'

Why shouldn't he?

Because that's cheating! Palua Abdul was chastised for helping the ones she like by makeing song selections for them. Now she cannot do that, so why should Simon help the ones he likes in his own way if she cannot help the ones she likes in her own way?

Because he's doing his job, on air, for everyone to see. It's got nothing to do with helping them backstage, and it's not cheating in any possible
